North Brooklyn Runners is super-psyched to present the first annual McCarren Park Track Classic on April 24th, 2010!
We anticipate 300 participants running eight events over the course of the day at the McCarren Park Track Classic, with just as many spectators. We expect to be covered by area print and online publications, promoted within our group, and cross-promoted by our sponsors as appropriate. Additionally, with the OSA and the North Brooklyn Compost Project as partners, we will be making this event as environmentally-friendly as possible with on-site composting and recycling, discouragement of plastic water bottles, opportunities to recycle old running shoes, and more.
It’s gonna be awesome.
